"Your job today isn't to teach place value — it's to be curious alongside Maya. That hesitation you'll see when she starts? Count to 10. Wait time is where real learning happens."

Most homeschool parents are capable and deeply motivated. Research shows that homeschooling structure and support build on that foundation and lead to student success.

How It Works

Personalized to your child.
Built to teach you.

Three steps, one cohesive system — from your family's first conversation about homeschooling to a portfolio-ready year-end evaluation.

1

Describe your child

Our intake instrument captures how your child learns, what they love, where they are academically, and what matters most to your family. This profile drives everything that follows.

2

Receive a full-year plan

A 36-week, standards-aligned curriculum — adapted for pace, interest, and learning style — with daily lesson plans and a parallel parent coaching track built specifically for you.

3

Teach, upload, adapt

As your child completes work, we analyze progress and adjust curricula and instruction. Your portfolio builds automatically. At year's end, you have an evaluation-ready record — and real teaching skill.

The Platform

Two tracks. One product.

The curriculum and the coaching run together, every day.

📖
Student Track

Students develop as learners

Daily lesson plans in Math and ELA, adapted to how your child learns, what they love, and where they are right now — not where a textbook assumes they should be.

  • 36-week scope & sequence, standards-aligned for New Hampshire
  • Interest-integrated throughout — from stories to slime and wherever else curiosity leads
  • Adaptive pacing: enrichment when ahead, re-teach when needed
  • Every lesson produces a portfolio artifact automatically
  • Reading log maintained without extra work from you
Parent Coaching Track

Parents develop as educators

Running alongside every lesson: instructional rationale, research grounding, and in-the-moment guidance that transforms capable parents into confident teachers over the course of a year.

  • Coaching calibrated to your confidence level and priorities
  • Research-backed instructional strategies, explained in plain language
  • Weekly reflections that improve your coaching
  • Access to real, human experts - in real-time
  • Built by credentialed educators and parents

The Prototype Is Real

We didn't just design this. We built it.

Before a line of production code was written, we built a complete end-to-end example: a full 36-week scope & sequence, five days of daily lesson plans with parent coaching, and a portfolio setup guide — all driven by a single student's intake profile.

Next Chapter — built by an educator, for educators-in-progress
About

Built by parent-educators, for parent-educators.

Next Chapter Homeschooling is built by Next Chapter Consulting — a team with deep roots in classroom instruction, curriculum design, and educational leadership. We believe that the tools to deliver high-quality education to every student should be placed where they belong: with parents.

We've watched school systems struggle to deploy tools that actually help teachers teach. We've seen parents defer on the dream of homeschooling for lack of confidence, time, and resources. This platform is the answer we wish existed.

Every lesson plan structure, every mastery threshold, every coaching prompt is grounded in research and reviewed by a team of licensed, credentialed educators before it reaches you. We know what works because we've lived it in the classroom and in our own home.

Classroom teaching experience in all core subjects - Math, Science, ELA, and Social Studies
Graduate and Doctoral-level study in Educational Leadership
Deep expertise in AI + edtech deployment
Pedagogical framework grounded in research-based best practices
FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Is this really just for New Hampshire?

For now, yes. NH has some of the most permissive homeschool laws in the US, which makes it the right proving ground. We will expand to other states — the architecture is built for it. NH families get first-mover advantage.

Do I have to manage the AI myself?

No. We use AI so you don't have to. The AI layer works in the background — you never have to prompt it or manage it. Every AI-generated output passes through expert human review before it reaches you. You interact as a parent-educator, not a prompt engineer.

What subjects does it cover?

Year 1 covers Mathematics and Reading & ELA — the foundation of everything else. Additional subjects are on the roadmap. Founding Family and Platform Patron backers get first access when they launch.

What if my child needs to slow down — or speed up?

The platform monitors mastery continuously. Above 85% consistently? It surfaces enrichment options. Below 65%? It generates a targeted re-teach plan. You control the pace; the platform adapts to it.

Will this satisfy the NH portfolio evaluation?

Yes. The platform auto-maintains the reading log, work samples, and unit progress snapshots required under RSA 193-A. At year's end, you export a complete, evaluation-ready portfolio document in one click.

What is the early backer commitment?

Early backer tiers are pre-orders — you're reserving your spot at founding-member pricing. No charge until the platform launches. If we don't ship, you owe nothing. Confirmed pricing is sent to all waitlist members before billing begins.
